I became a geriatric social worker because of my amazing relationship with my grandparents. Because of them, I have always seen older adults as wonderful people.
Erin has been with Dutton & Casey, PC. since March, 2010, and serves as the firm’s Client Care Coordinator. The primary objective of Erin’s role is to help the client and their family make informed decisions about health care and/or long-term care needs.

Erin holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Aurora University, as well as a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Lewis University. She is an active member of numerous local aging coalitions and professional aging-related organizations. Her passion for the older adult population resulted in a specialty certification in geriatric social work from the National Association on Social Workers (NASW). In addition, in 2010, Erin was selected as one of the NASW Illinois Chapter’s Emerging Leaders.
Before working with Dutton & Casey, Erin served as the Manager of the Alexian Brothers Hospital Network’s Senior and Community Resource Center and coordinated the satellite program of Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind and People who have Low Vision at Alexian Brothers. She also has experience as an elder abuse investigator and long-term care ombudsman.
Erin is also a certified care manager and an adjunct Assistant Professor at Lewis University in the Department of Justice, Law, and Public Safety Studies.
